Tracy Lu is interested in the impactful design, manufacturing, and management of innovative products that promote sustainability, health, and education. Her ideal space is within the intersection of industrial design and user facing mechanical engineering design. More specifically, her research interests are in CAD modeling and freehand technical sketching, especially their applications to education and early-stage, iterative prototyping of digital and hardware products. Over the summer she was an intern at Amazon Lab126, the research and design headquarters of Amazon in-house and Alexa-enabled devices.
