Perrone is proficient in Java, C, Python, Matlab and MIPS Assembly language. As part of her Duke education, she has had the opportunity to build a microprocessor from scratch, learned how to use a Huffman decoder, and created a team of robots from Arduino boards that are capable of performing tasks in unison. Perrone serves on the technology committee for Duke's Business Oriented Women club, and is part of Chance Tutoring where she tutors underprivileged high school students in math and science. She is a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and has performed in plays.
