Want is proficient in Python, Java, C, Latex, HTML/CSS, jQuery, Javascript and Assembly language. At Duke, she works as a teaching assistant for the data structure and algorithms class in computer science. In 2016, she studied abroad through the Duke in Berlin program and created three photo exhibit in the tete art gallery. She also worked as a web designer for the Orlando Shooting Fundraising Event where she used HTML, CSS and jQuery to design a website about Orlando Nightclub Shooting in Chinese. She is a volunteer fundraising sponsor for Operation Smile--a nonprofit organization that arranges for cleft lip or cleft palate surgeries for children. Wang speaks Chinese, English and intermediate German.
